BEHRAKIS HEALTH SCIENCES BUILDING, RESIDENCE HALL, AND PARKING GARAGE

northeastern university, boston, ma

This 240,000 sf mixed-use project is a focal point for the larger campus plan, and provides a health sciences building, 293 bed dormitory, and a 270 car parking garage for the university. The science building defines a campus promenade while the new residence hall continues an architectural vocabulary established by existing campus dormitories. Together with the health sciences building, the residence hall defines a raised plaza with a parking garage below. The landscaped plaza is accessible from the ground and available to inhabitants of both the dormitory and health sciences building.
